Androniki Marinakis

Androniki Marinakis, age 87, a loving wife, mom, and YiaYia of Massillon, OH passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2026. She was born December 21, 1938 in Cyprus to the late George and Eleni (Christodoulides) Shiepis.

Androniki was a devoted member of St. George Orthodox Church in Massillon since 1975 and was an active baker for the church as well.

Androniki is survived by her husband, George of 50 years; a son, Nektarios; a brother, Alfedos (Brenda) Shiepis; two grandkids, Shayla and Adonis Marinakis; and three Great-Grandchildren, Amari’ Anna, Jared, and Elijah. She is preceded by her sister, Stella Symeonides and her brother, Rev. Constantine Shiepis.  

Funeral Services will be held 11AM Thursday, February 26, 2026 at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 364 First St SE Massillon, OH 44646. Fr. Spiro W. Kehayes will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11AM at the church, and Androniki will be laid to rest in Rosehill Cemetery in Massillon, OH.
